Cross Connections: Design and Illustration from art schools around the world (October 16 – November 16, 2012) is an exhibition of visual communication art curated by Ping Xu, Assistant Professor of Art at Truman State University.
Cross Connections contains works from The University of Texas-Arlington, the University of Texas-Pan American, Central Academy of Fine Arts (China), Luxun Academy of Fine Arts (China), Shanghai University (China), Sint Lucas Ghent (Belgium), National School of Fine Arts (Mexico) and Truman State University and is simultaneously taking place at all the institutions.

Cross Connections opened on Tuesday October 16 at Truman State University and continues through November 16, 2012. China Trade, an exhibition of Qing Dynasty porcelain will be on display in the side gallery as well.
This exhibition can be viewed at the University Art Gallery, open Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 7:00pm, Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Saturday, noon to 4:30pm. The gallery is closed during campus holidays. For more information contact Aaron Fine at 660-785-5386 or afine@truman.edu
